Advocates for Recovery Colorado (AFRC) was the first peer-led/peer-run, authentic Recovery Community Organization in Colorado and is licensed by the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration as a Recovery Support Services Organization (RSSO). AFRC promotes and supports the statewide recovery community by providing peer and family recovery support services at no cost to the individual or family member, including peer recovery coaching, recovery social support activities and ALL inclusive recovery support meetings. AFRC continues to be the FACE & VOICE of RECOVERY in Colorado and invites everyone to join us in our advocacy efforts.
We strive to be the voice of hope, empowering those affected by substance use through advocacy, education, and peer recovery support services in all Colorado communities.
Our Mission
All Coloradans have support for active and sustained whole health recovery, free from stigma and inequity.
Our Vision
“Wonderful Organization, Fantastic people. There is more than one way to recover, and these people, their programs, and functions make it possible.”
