Brooke Riedel

Peer Recovery Coach

My journey towards recovery began in July of 2020 when I entered a two-year transitional program. It was there that I embarked on the courageous task of rebuilding my life from the depths of homelessness, isolation, and addiction. While the road to recovery is challenging and fraught with setbacks, I have always chosen it over the life I once led. Each day, I consciously commit to fighting for my recovery, and in return, it gifts me with family, friends, and a sense of community. Today, I can trust both myself and others—a testament to the progress I've made. I am grateful to God every day for the restoration of my life. As I wake up each morning, I am reminded that my story has the power to inspire others to embark on their own paths to recovery and to offer them support along the way.

You can’t fail if you don’t try and if you do fail there’s always something to be learned.
