Advocates for Recovery Colorado and Robyn Priest Live Your Truth are thrilled to present an all-inclusive training program tailored for aspiring Colorado Peer Support Professionals and Family Support Specialists. This comprehensive training encompasses all required hours for the Colorado Peer & Family Specialist (CPFS) certification.

Facilitated by seasoned professionals spanning the realms of mental health, substance use, and family support, our training ensures a holistic understanding of peer support concepts.

Training Overview:

This 60-hour training program is designed to equip individuals with the essential knowledge and skills required for the role of a Peer Recovery Coach, Peer Support Specialist, or Family Support Specialist. From core competencies and recovery guiding principles to practical role-play and exploring ethical responsibilities, participants will emerge with a comprehensive understanding of their crucial role in supporting recovery and wellness. Participants will engage in interactive discussions, case studies, and experiential activities to enhance their understanding and skills. Upon completion of the training, participants will meet the required training hours for the Colorado Peer & Family Specialist (CPFS) certification, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in the peer support workforce.
