Join us for a monthly networking event designed exclusively for Peer Support Specialists! This gathering provides a welcoming space to connect, share insights, and build a stronger sense of community within our field. Each month will feature opportunities for open dialogue, collaboration, and occasional guest speakers or panels to inspire and inform. Whether you’re new to the profession or a seasoned specialist, this is your chance to network with peers who understand the unique challenges and rewards of our work. Together, we can strengthen the foundation of support for those we serve and each other.

An AFRC RecoverWe Event to promote Physical and Social Recovery Capital. Those attending will show up an hour before open skate time and meet in the parking lot to enjoy some hot chocolate and camaraderie within the Durango public community followed by some ice-skating fun.

Staff member Jared Horney, an English major, will lead this group in discussing the craft of creative writing and allow everyone the space to practice their writing skills together. Whether you're a published author or haven't written anything in your life, ALL are welcome.

Come and write a description about you falling in love one day at the grocery store. Write about the DMV trip that took five years to complete. Write about the best dog you've ever met.

Come bring snacks to share, if so inclined!

Join us at Durango Coffee Company for a Sober Paint & Sip event, where you can enjoy a variety of alcohol-free beverages while diving into a board-game-themed painting experience. Choose from a special selection of flavorful, alcohol-free drinks, included in the cost of your class, as you paint along to a lively tutorial inspired by this year’s Snowdown theme, "Board Games." Your ticket covers all painting materials, so all you need to bring is your creativity (and maybe a little strategic flair!). We invite everyone to get into the spirit of the event and dress in your best board game-inspired costume—think chess champions, colorful Connect Four pieces, or even a Guess Who? character. Join us for a fun and relaxing afternoon of creativity as we follow Bob Ross Episode 1 Season 25 tutorial and paint our own masterpieces. No experience necessary! Materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you'd like.

Join us in bringing warmth and care to our unhoused friends and neighbors this season! We are collecting donations of essential items—including cold weather gear, hygiene products, and non-perishable food—to assemble care packages that will provide comfort and support. Every contribution helps us offer a bit of hope and resilience to those facing tough times. Donations can be dropped off at 17 N 6th Street (MADA) during business hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. All collected items will be distributed directly to members of our community in need.
