Join us in bringing warmth and care to our unhoused friends and neighbors this season! We are collecting donations of essential items—including cold weather gear, hygiene products, and non-perishable food—to assemble care packages that will provide comfort and support. Every contribution helps us offer a bit of hope and resilience to those facing tough times. Donations can be dropped off at 17 N 6th Street (MADA) during business hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. All collected items will be distributed directly to members of our community in need.

Come join us for Advocates For Recovery's fourth Creative Writing Workshop! Participants will be led by AFRC coach Jared Horney (an actual English major) as he walks the group through some creative writing processes. Everyone will be able to have time to work on and share their output. No matter if you've never written creatively in your life or have a hundred published novels to your name - all are welcome! Formats can be anything - come write a poem, a screenplay, a short story, or anything else.

Join us for a festive and joyful Christmas party with our recovery community! Celebrate the season with delicious food, a hot chocolate bar, ornament decorating, karaoke, and fun games. Let’s come together to share in the holiday spirit, connect, and make special memories. All are welcome – let's make this season bright!
