Cheri has been in long-term, sustained recovery for over 30 years.  She has supported Advocates For Recovery Colorado in a variety of capacities since 2014.  Her current role is as Board Secretary.

Cheri’s passion is giving hope to the addicted.  She believes that hope is the embodiment of the AFR CO community. And is especially proud of AFR’s presence throughout Colorado.  

In addition to AFR CO, Cheri volunteers with individuals seeking freedom from addiction and the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Center.

Previously, Cheri has served as a Board member of the Arvada Historical Society.    

Cheri also volunteers with Nikeno’s Second Chances rescue.

She lives in Arvada, CO with her husband and menagerie of rescue cats and dogs.
