Susan has been a treatment provider supporting recovery from addiction for 25 years, through several community agencies. She has supported Advocates for Recovery Colorado for many years and currently serves as Board Vice Chair and Treasurer.

 Susan believes deeply that everyone deserves a chance to recover from addiction and enjoys helping individuals in treatment to benefit from connecting with support and community for recovery. She is excited to see AFRC expand throughout the state to bring peer recovery support to all Colorado residents.

 Susan volunteered with the Cat Care Society shelter for several years, eventually stopping since accepting that she is too inclined to adopt the cats she fostered.

 Susan lives in Adams County with her husband and daughter, who may often be seen in AFRC Rally t-shirts promoting recovery.
