Vanessa grew up nestled deep in the Ozark mountains in the bustling community known as Branson Missouri where the music bug took its course at an early age. Vanessa (she/they) proudly identifies as being a musician in long term and sustained recovery. On the professional side you will find Vanessa emersed deep into the recovery community working for the nonprofit organization, Advocates for Recovery Colorado, as the Director of Community Connections. On the personal side she volunteers for the Hornbuckle Foundation helping teach children to play musical instruments, is an active member in the Recovery Dharma community, loves being outdoors, has never met a donut she didn't like, and spends every spare moment spreading smiles, giving hugs, listening to 90’s hip hop and riding her Harley Davidson fast and LOUD!
